In Swemmer Defender, you play as a member of the Swemmer sword people. They are a race of magical swords that are born in stones, just like the Arthurian excalibur trope. However in this world the swords are alive! 

Due to their magical nature, "heroes" from nearby kingdoms aim to poach them and take them for themselves. When a Swemmer young is pulled from the stone before it is mature, they are killed, turning them into a regular magically infused weapon. For this reason they are highly sought after by humans.

It is up to you to defend your nest from the onslaught of human soldiers! How long can you last?
